I wish I had this course years ago! The module Who is Your Audience, helped me realize that while many of the clever jokes I had put into my kid's show were funny to me, I was alienating my target audience (small children) as well as turning off potential investors who actually understand my target audience. Applicable beyond fiction. Butch's themes on Storytelling are universal. Though I have some aspirations for fiction, most of my current work deals with personal, nonfiction stories and podcasting.
